
# Launch iminent

Start by choosing your bacon. Thick-cut or regular, it all depends on personal preference. Lay the strips out in a single layer on a cold skillet. This helps render the fat evenly.

Turn the heat to medium. As the skillet heats up, the bacon will start to sizzle. Keep an eye on it and flip the strips occasionally for even cooking.

Cook until the bacon reaches the desired crispiness. This usually takes about 8 to 12 minutes.

Once done, transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to soak up excess grease. Enjoy it on its own or as part of a bigger meal.
