Creating your Lazarus account takes just a few minutes. The sign-up form sets up two things at once: your personal user profile and your organization's basic details. Once you're in, you can refine everything through the onboarding checklist.
Your Information
The first section of the sign-up form establishes your personal login and contact information.
- Title — Optional. Choose your preferred title (Mr., Mrs., Ms., Dr., etc.) from the dropdown.
- First Name and Last Name — Required. Enter your name as you'd like it displayed across the platform.
- Email Address — Required. This becomes your login email and must be unique. Use a work email that you check regularly — this is where you'll receive notifications and password resets.
- Password — Required. Must be at least 8 characters. Choose something secure that you won't use elsewhere.
- Job Title — Optional but recommended. Entering your role (e.g., Principal or Director of Admissions) helps other team members identify who you are when they join later.
- Phone Number — Required. Provide a direct number where you can be reached for account-related matters. Format: 555-867-5309.
Organization Information
The second section creates your school or organization's profile within Lazarus. This information will be visible to families on your enrollment applications.
- School Name — Required. Your organization's official name as you want it to appear publicly (e.g., Anchor Academy).
- Web Address — Optional. Your school's website URL. The form automatically includes https://.
- School Type — Optional. Select the classification that best describes your organization: Alternative, Boarding, Charter, Homeschool, Montessori, Private independent, Private religious, Public, Waldorf, and more. This helps Lazarus tailor the experience to your school type.
- District Name — Optional. If your school is part of a district, enter it here.
- Street Address, Unit Number, City, State, and Zip Code — Your organization's physical mailing address. Street address, city, state, and zip code are all required. Unit number is optional.
Finishing Up
Once you've filled in the form, review your information for accuracy — especially your email address, since that's how you'll log in. Then click Create your account → to finish.
If you already have an account, click Sign in at the bottom of the page to log in instead.
A few things to keep in mind:
- All fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required.
- The information you enter here will be used throughout your Lazarus experience, so accuracy matters. You can always update it later in your Account settings.
- If you run into any issues during sign-up, reach out to support through the chat icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.
