Welcome Page
School management starts here. When you first sign up, you’ll land on the Welcome Page. This is where you’ll complete some key setup steps to get your account ready. Once you complete these steps, the Welcome Page will go away. Here’s what you can do on this page:
1. Connect to Stripe
Set up your payment connection so you can start collecting application fees and tuition online through Lazarus. Stripe handles the secure transfer of funds into your school’s bank account. Learn more about this step.
2. Learn How Payments Work
Click the link to read about how payments get handled in Lazarus through Stripe — including processing fees, chargebacks, payouts, and more — so you know exactly what to expect.
3. Add Your Branding
Make Lazarus feel like your school. Customize your personal and school profile in Lazarus so everything is aligned with your identity and operations.
4. Add Your Team
Invite the staff members who need access to Lazarus. You’ll enter their name, email, job title, and role so they can collaborate on application reviews and more. Learn more about roles and levels of access.
5. Create an Enrollment Application
Start accepting applications by building your first enrollment form. You’ll be able to customize fields, collect fees, and track everything in one place. Learn more.
You’ll notice two tabs to the right of the First Steps list of tasks. Here’s what you can do in those tabs:
6. Invite Your Team Tab
This is another space to send invites to your team members – similar to the fourth step in the setup process. Just enter their name, email, job title, and role, then click “Send invitation.” You can also track pending invites at the bottom of this section.
7. Set Up Banking Tab
This is another launch point to setting up your Stripe account – similar to the first step in the setup process. You can use this tab to start the process to connect your school’s bank account securely through Stripe. This step is required to receive payouts from application fees and tuition payments.
